Riot, God's provision, Adventure, and coming back to the US
Blog on Riot about to be posted. Come back soon!

I've been back in the US for 3 weeks now, which is odd because it feels like maybe 1. When I got home, my plan was to stay in California for 2 weeks and then start my road trip across the country to stay at friends houses, but then I found some mites. I thought it was a tick, but then started feeling bites and seeing nothing. For awhile I thought I was turning into a crazy person or had very dry skin, but then looked at my picture of the 'tick' I found...mites. Usually I only write after things are sorted, so its weird for me to write in the middle of something, but I wanted to share what I have been learning.
For one, God has been teaching me about my authority in Him. This was something new I learned at LIV. There was one woman who worked at LIV who became a friend of mine. She talked about how she told the mosquitos not to bite her in Jesus' name, and she hadn't gotten bitten since. I had never heard of anything like that. I heard we could tell demons to leave, and bones to heal because we have the Holy Spirit, but I never that we could use authority to tell mosquitos to buzz off. It got me thinking: what does authority look like? It also was confusing because my authority wasn't working. It felt as if I was tapping a microphone and looking around, wondering why my words weren't gaining a reaction. It has been trying to have mites, but perhaps even more trying to remain confident in what God has told me.
More to come!
